Oral History Interviews
First-hand accounts from the women who shaped California politics — preserved in their own words, for every generation that follows.
Her Words
WICP100 produces videotaped oral histories of women that have helped shape California politics. “Her Words” captures the personality, enthusiasm, passion and commitment of the women who blazed new trails in the state. Each woman elected to the Legislature has a number in the order of her election — just like the Presidents.
This collection will serve as a valuable tool and resource to empower, educate, and inspire present and future generations. The videos document how and why these women became involved in politics and showcase each woman’s commitment, service, dedication, and wit.
