WICP100 Museum
An ever-growing, ever-changing exhibition preserving 100 years of women in California politics — in artifacts, timelines, and first-hand history.

Where Every Artifact Has a Story
In the museum you will find a timeline of the 197 women elected to serve in California’s Legislature — proudly sponsored by The Honorable Shannon Grove (#127). Display cases hold historic keepsakes, photographs, artifacts, and much more in this ever-growing exhibition in Sacramento, California.
The museum is highlighted by dozens of unique, one-of-a-kind items. Among the most notable: the first pantsuit worn by a female Senator on the Senate floor. The Honorable Rebecca “Becky” Morgan was politely escorted off the Senate floor for not complying with the dress code — a moment that now stands as a testament to how far the conversation has come.
